Hey You, dear reader,
One of my beliefs used to be: "People do not change!"
I think it was a result of a hectic search for the right partner. Hooking up with some one and after a few hours :-), days or months realising there was no match... still there were moments you hit it off with this person again. After a while realising nothing has changed, resulting in another painfull break up.
Last week, during my morning run, I observed that nature is changing every day. Especially in spring it is so beautifull to watch the natural changes. So if nature changes and is yet growing, why shouldn't people be able to change? and grow as a result?
Looking at my own life I perceived I already evolved a lot by simply becoming a mother, by starting yoga practice and studying the philosophy, by connecting more to myself,...
2014 was a year that trully pushed my buttons: people were taking advantage of me and my family members... this had to stop and things needed to change for real.
The theme of 2015 became: change! After a long family holiday, bateries were charged, values and goals were reset and we hit change: we renovated our house, altered our habits, lifestyle and... thoughts.
For example: I never was a very sporty girl, but we decided to get fit... So I remembered the first training session. I cried before it, because I was afraid I could not do it. And look at me now, encouraged by the best trainer and celebrating each little succes, I am now running 4 times a week and enjoying it, much stronger and happier. I am not sure if it was the change or the healthy life style that in the end also opened my mind. Probably it is a combination of both.

Reflecting on this I now see how I was limiting myself and my environment to grow... Just by thinking change was impossible or too difficult or too frightening.
Adapting my life style, habits, thoughts and beliefs made me so much happier, stronger, flexible and succesfull!
So take the bull by the horns: stop complaining about the things that frustrate you, set your goals, find out what passionates you, ...and change. From now on you decide what your life will look like....
YXO,
Vicky
